Dream it. Believe it. Achieve it.Book Tour Stop Seattle, Washington

Our second stop of our book tour was awesome! We had three stops in Seattle! Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, and Seattle. The tour was a success. We are coming back in 2020.
The world needs more positive events! I want to inspire people to never give up on yourself! Do not give up on your Dreams! Seattle was very nice! The weekend was very memorable! It was awesome to experience!
Thankful and grateful for my co-worker for organizing the book tour. She was a blessing and very thankful! God will bless her double! Unless you are already famous, author book tours, at least those sponsored by publishing houses, are a relic of the past, along with fountain pens, Wite-Out, and the proper use of the word “impact.”
For authors, it is even more of a pity, because meeting people who have enjoyed your work is a real thrill. Webinars, virtual tours, blogs, and all the rest of the vast sea of vicarious contact in which we frequently find ourselves floundering simply do not compare to the shining eyes of a fan.
How do you arrange your own book tour? If your book is released in print, call all of the bookstores within a two hour’s drive from your home (or as far as you are willing to travel). Offer to do a free reading at their store, as a local author. The owner/s will want to see a press kit, so make sure you have one ready. Let them know how they may order the book. Then arrange a time. Alert the local media.
You can also offer to give a free talk at any institution that is connected with your book’s topic. Fundraisers for local charities (especially around Christmas) and public radio drives are great venues. If you participate in a book signing for a public radio drive, your name will be mentioned on the airwaves.
Best of all, if you hold an event, or are invited to one, people will remember you. And that is the definition of fame.
Never give up! Keep promoting yourself! The tour was successful! The ladies enjoyed reading my books! They were inspired by my story! Keep promoting and moving!
Why do we concentrate on the long journey ahead instead of recognizing how far we’ve come in our efforts? They form the building blocks of our future endeavors—if, that is, we learn to trust in ourselves.

  • Have fun engaging with the readers! Accept the spotlight but share your journey! I wanted the room to feel like they were sitting with me in my living room.
  • Prepare but be flexible. To read or not to read? I felt the pulse of the room and used the reading materials I’d marked in my book, but had that blog ready if I needed it.
  • Let EVERYONE know where you’ll be. If this had not been so last minute, I would have used my social media more. One of the attendees turned out to be an old acquaintance I met on a dive trip in 2005. She saw the signing on Facebook only a couple hours before the event. Another other new reader was associated with my publisher and book coach. Subsequently, she followed me with a message on Twitter.

Business Shower with TJInspires.. Success.. Launch Now! Just Do it!

The business shower was held on May 4, 2019. The event was very successful! We are planning to take it on the road Fall.2019. We had a packed house! So much knowledge and inspiration was in the room.
A meme has quickly been passed around on Facebook that says instead of throwing a baby shower, support small business by hosting a business shower. When a friend starts a new business, help them celebrate and bring resources to help! In today’s growing gig economy and entrepreneur climate, this is a wonderful idea! Here are a few tips if you want to host a business shower:
  • Don’t ask your friend to take time away from their to launch date in order to clean. Hire a cleaning service for their home, or even better, find a public location and post signs: “Welcome to Our New Business Party!” Give your friend a leg up on advertising and get people talking!
  • If the business is online only, create a public Facebook event so that you and your friends can share the good news about a soon-to-be-born business! Everyone likes to celebrate good news and you’ll help drive anticipation for launch day.
  • Shower gifts can be office supplies, colorful pens, notecards, envelopes or quality printer paper.
  • Don't forget the entrepreneur! Massage gift certificates, healthy snack foods and an essential oil diffuser with relaxing scents will help the new business owner unwind after a hectic launch.

TJInspires Travel...Who’s say you can’t afford Disney…TRAVEL ON A BUDGET.. A must Read!

Wow… It’s been a minute since my last v-log! But we are back and on it! In early April, I traveled to Orlando with my mother! It was not a planned trip at all! I just need a mental break from life! So, we had nothing planned at all!

Check out www.tjinspires.com/ Youtube TJInspires/ https://tristanjackson.inteletravel.com/booktravel.cfm
I been wanting to go to Orlando for- ever! I convinced my mother! We purchased our tickets a week prior! We scored cheap tickets to Disney! We paid $45 for each ticket! We uber around the city. Since, it was a weekend trip. We could only do one park. There’s nothing more magical than a trip to Disney World—the castles, the fairytales, the thrills, your favorite animated stars come to life. But as prices rise with every passing year, it’s become one of the most costly vacations a family, couple, or group of friends can take. How to make the hit to your bank account hurt a little less?
Disney is so magical! It made me feel like a 5 year old little girl! Everything was nice! My mom and I split everything. It was a magical experience! I would be returning! The best time to go to Disney World is mid-week during the off-season. If your kids can miss a few days of school, I highly recommend going that route. Your family will spend much less time-fighting crowds, standing in long lines. Keep in mind that during on peak days, one-day admission prices will rise 20% over regular day admission. Peak dates include the Christmas season, Spring Break, and peak summer. If you visit the parks on “value” days, the price is reduced by 4%.
Here are tips, I learned from my weekend trip!
  1. DO visit during non-peak times.
  2. Do shop around! Shop around!
  3. If all possible, wait to purchase your tickets in Orlando!
  4. DO visit during non-peak times. ...
  5. Try to stay off site!
  6.  If you want to save cost. Try to share everything.
  7. Purchase your Disney gear off site.
  8. Plan ahead.
The cheapest months to fly to Orlando will be when you typically see less people travelling to Disney. These tend to generally fall within:

Mid-January to mid-February
May to early June
Late August to mid-November
Magic Kingdom:This is the most popular theme park. Magic Kingdom has the most rides, totalling over 20. It has six themed lands that cater to all ages. Entertainment includes a daily afternoon parade and an evening fireworks show.
Disney was so nice! I would never thought, a girl from the hood would get a chance to experience Disney! My mom and I had a nice time! Orlando was nice! We also, visited ICON Park which was nice! Everything went well!

My name is Tristan Jackson, through my website I want to inspire you!! My purpose for this blog's, websites, and book's  is to inspire people to achieve their dreams in spite of adversity.  I will be posting motivational quotes, bible verses, and college tips!!

    My story:
My life is a story of faith, hope, perseverance, survival, love, heartbreak, compassion, triumphs, and failures. God didn't promise days without pain, laughter, sorrow, sun or rain, but he did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas!! I was raised in a small low income neighborhood near downtown Houston called Fourth Ward   I will never forget where I came from, Fourth Ward, but I just tend to set my mind more on where I’m headed. I have learned that you must think outside of the box to obtain greatness.

As we go through life, it’s easy to get caught up in the status quo. You start to believe that average is acceptable and that since others are settling, then it’s ok to do the same. As soon as you notice this start to happen, something must be done to snap out of it!
