Our second stop of our book tour was awesome! We had three stops in Seattle! Bainbridge Island, Bremerton, and Seattle. The tour was a success. We are coming back in 2020. The world needs more positive events! I want to inspire people to never give up on yourself! Do not give up on your Dreams! Seattle was very nice! The weekend was very memorable! It was awesome to experience! Thankful and grateful for my co-worker for organizing the book tour. She was a blessing and very thankful! God will bless her double! Unless you are already famous, author book tours, at least those sponsored by publishing houses, are a relic of the past, along with fountain pens, Wite-Out, and the proper use of the word “impact.” For authors, it is even more of a pity, because meeting people who have enjoyed your work is a real thrill. Webinars, virtual tours, blogs, and all the rest of the vast sea of vicarious contact in which we frequently find ourselves floundering simply do not compare to the shining eyes of a fan. How do you arrange your own book tour? If your book is released in print, call all of the bookstores within a two hour’s drive from your home (or as far as you are willing to travel). Offer to do a free reading at their store, as a local author. The owner/s will want to see a press kit, so make sure you have one ready. Let them know how they may order the book. Then arrange a time. Alert the local media. You can also offer to give a free talk at any institution that is connected with your book’s topic. Fundraisers for local charities (especially around Christmas) and public radio drives are great venues. If you participate in a book signing for a public radio drive, your name will be mentioned on the airwaves. Best of all, if you hold an event, or are invited to one, people will remember you. And that is the definition of fame. Never give up! Keep promoting yourself! The tour was successful! The ladies enjoyed reading my books! They were inspired by my story! Keep promoting and moving! Why do we concentrate on the long journey ahead instead of recognizing how far we’ve come in our efforts? They form the building blocks of our future endeavors—if, that is, we learn to trust in ourselves.

It was not a planned trip at all! I just need a mental break from life! So, we had nothing planned at all! Check out www.tjinspires.com/ Youtube TJInspires/ https://tristanjackson.inteletravel.com/booktravel.cfm I been wanting to go to Orlando for- ever! I convinced my mother! We purchased our tickets a week prior! We scored cheap tickets to Disney! We paid $45 for each ticket! We uber around the city. Since, it was a weekend trip. We could only do one park. There’s nothing more magical than a trip to Disney World—the castles, the fairytales, the thrills, your favorite animated stars come to life. But as prices rise with every passing year, it’s become one of the most costly vacations a family, couple, or group of friends can take. How to make the hit to your bank account hurt a little less? Disney is so magical! It made me feel like a 5 year old little girl! Everything was nice! My mom and I split everything. It was a magical experience! I would be returning! The best time to go to Disney World is mid-week during the off-season. If your kids can miss a few days of school, I highly recommend going that route. Your family will spend much less time-fighting crowds, standing in long lines. Keep in mind that during on peak days, one-day admission prices will rise 20% over regular day admission. Peak dates include the Christmas season, Spring Break, and peak summer. If you visit the parks on “value” days, the price is reduced by 4%. Here are tips, I learned from my weekend trip!
Mid-January to mid-February May to early June Late August to mid-November Magic Kingdom:This is the most popular theme park. Magic Kingdom has the most rides, totalling over 20. It has six themed lands that cater to all ages. Entertainment includes a daily afternoon parade and an evening fireworks show. Disney was so nice! I would never thought, a girl from the hood would get a chance to experience Disney! My mom and I had a nice time! Orlando was nice! We also, visited ICON Park which was nice! Everything went well! Give yourself some credit you've come pretty far. When our lives go off the rails, we tend to slip into survival mode – doing whatever needs to be done to change our situation and then moving on from it as swiftly as possible. We scarcely stop to acknowledge just how much strength and tenacity it takes to keep us going through those times. This year, make a point to acknowledge the person who wiped your tears, pulled you through your toughest hours and got you to where you are today. Because that person’s you. And they deserve some thanks. Inspirational Sunday... Invest in Yourself... Challenge Yourself… Join the I AM CHALLENGE...7/1/2018 Challenging yourself daily is a foolproof method to personal improvement. Ever notice how people get distracted by little insignificant things that stop them from doing bigger and more important tasks every day? On 8-1-2018, Demond and I will be doing the I AM Challenge. All you need to get is the book to join the challenge. This positive affirmation journal contains blank lined pages and 31 positive affirmations to help you vibrate the right energy to achieve success and prosperity. Can two words give you the power to change your life? Yes, they can! Written by Demond Alverez & Tristan Jackson. Here are 4 reasons why we need challenges on a daily basis!
When caught under pressure, do you find yourself giving up more often than pushing through the difficulties? In the heat of the moment, it seems like the easiest solution is to throw in the towel and move on to something different. We so often sell ourselves short of our true potential because we simply don’t have the energy or capacity to push through challenges, without the ability to see the value of its defeat. Challenging ourselves to always achieve a level greater than what we expect is beneficial to not only our mental health, but also to our personal well being. As we conquer challenges that stand in our way like roadblocks, refusing to allow our passing, we find confidence in our abilities. ![]() When going after your dreams, its such a roller coaster ride. Some days are great and some days are not so great! Like everyone else, I get down in the dumps sometimes, with life’s up and downs (and sometimes more downs than ups). And we all have our ways of dealing with it, and how we pull ourselves out of a slump. Lately, I been missing church due to work and helping a sick family member. But today, I went to church and the message was for me! The best is yet to come! Fight for your Dreams! In our society patience is not practiced. In our fast-paced society, we have been so accustomed to everything transpiring in an instant. Any delay is an inconvenience. Any inconvenience is unacceptable! Never give up on your Dreams! Keep pushing the Dream.
Last week, I had the joy of watching the Disney-Pixar animation, Coco. Which I have to say is a great family movie that brightens children’s imagination, and many lessons adults can learn. The dilemma of breaking tradition was faced by the protagonist, Miguel (voiced by Anthony Gonzalez). Who, despite was raised to hate music, wanted to pursue the life of a musician. He then faces the criticism and judgment of his family, while constantly struggling to find a way to convince them that music is his passion, and to not join the family business.
In his endeavor to ‘follow is dreams’ he finds himself walking amongst the departed souls when he attempted to steal the guitar that was once owned by his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voiced by Benjamin Bratt), a legendary singer who he recently just concluded to be his great-great-grandfather. Upon meeting the souls of his ancestors, he finds out that the only way back to the human dimension was to receive a blessing from a relative; however, they may create a condition that once broken, will send him right back to the world of souls. Lesson 1: The best way to prove a point is by doing it. The first thing I observed while watching the animation was that Miguel relates to many of today’s youth. His constant struggle to pursue his dreams, the conflict of having a non-supportive family, and endless hope for belonging. Lesson 2: Never lose your principles while following your dream. Never settle for less than. You can achieve your dreams. Lesson 3: Destiny will always find a way to make things right. Always have faith that things will be better eventually in one way or another. But it doesn't mean that you just have to sit and wait for things to happen, destiny only sets the course but you still have to find your way through the right one. Lesson 4: The most wonderful blessings come in the most unexpected forms. Look at things at a different perspective and always see the beauty and goodness in everything. No matter how dark the clouds become, there's always a silver lining and sometimes, it's already right under our noses. We just have to learn to appreciate things more to notice it. Remember all all dreams are possible. Go watch Coco Now!!! Dreams are just dreams until you decide they are going to be something more. When you add passion to your dreams your life circumstances will not keep you from achieving them. Dream chasing is not something everyone is cut out to do. Dream chasing is for those who dare to take a chance to believe, that their dream is something more, than a thought or possibility. Dream chasers know their dreams are worth chasing. Sometimes people want to go so fast that they sabotage the speed of their dream. The greatest dreams are the ones that are the most challenging; there is no easy button to living them. There is a transition phase that has to take place when you go from chasing to actually living the dream. When you honor your dream and quit moving fast… your mistakes are minimized and the successes are magnified. ![]() In a world full of chaos, is it possible to see the positivity in chaos? How can you maintain some semblance of positivity when every time you turn on the news, it's one gut-wrenching story after another? Life can be crazy at time! I had some recent events happen in my personal life that I had to address. God gives each one us test and trials. As I sit here, I triple count my blessings. I know that God has my back and I look at the positive in the chaos. You can not have a testimony without a test. How can we transform any chaotic situation into one of inner and outer peace? How do we sit calmly and not get caught up in the hype? How do we not worry? How do we stay centered and grounded? How do we remain connected and rooted? 1. Prayer: is what gets me through every problem. This is the first thing I do. I try to calm my mind down, and I start envisioning the outcome I’d like to see happen. I don’t get attached to these ideas; I simply start imagining myself happy, healthy, safe, and loved, and I begin to visualize a friendlier situation and outcome. 2. Faith: Develop faith that things always turn out okay. In order for us to transcend our situation and create more peace in our lives, we have got to feel it. The best way for us to succeed at levitating above the mosh pit is to have faith. To have faith, we must believe with conviction that everything will be okay, even if we can’t currently see exactly how. When we possess faith, that inner knowing is a feeling that we have. We know. And we cannot evolve fully into the know until we have unrockable faith. 3. Support System: Get you a support system some that you can call and will speak positive over your life. One of the things you can do when attempting to navigate a bumpy crossroads is build an support system. 4. Choose to be positive: Did you know that happiness is a choice? It's not something that someone else can provide you. It's also not something that can be obtained by material things. It's something that you provide to yourself, every day. It's a choice, and it's your choice. Life is dynamic and ever-changing. Events both good and bad are likely to hurtle toward us without a moment’s notice. We may be sailing smoothly along when suddenly we are thrown into a hurricane of sick loved ones, personal illness, financial troubles, and so on. When we pray, have faith, a strong support system, and choose to be positive. We can see the positive in the chaos. Life is full of stresses and the best way to find your calm is through your breath. It’s mobile, discreet and always available. It’s easy to get into the habit of taking a moment to stop and breathe in and out slowly when stressed and, once it’s a habit, it comes naturally. To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.” ~Unknown
There are certain events that can rock us to the core: starting a new job, moving across the country, ending a relationship, and starting a new business. Please don't be surprise when, you start a business that people will run to support! But trust me, if you believe in yourself and trust God through the process. You will make it. Get with the right team! Be ready to hear the word NO! Trust God! Stop listening to people who bring you down. Some people are convinced that everything is impossible, and they are quick to shoot down ideas. They'll poison your mind into a state of hopelessness. Don't let them steal your energy just because they've lost theirs. Instead, surround yourself with supportive and passionate people who can both inspire you and bring out the best in you. They will lift you up when you feel down and help you see the bright side of your darkest fears and doubts. Believing in yourself means having pride and confidence in yourself. In younger days, I was always doubted myself and said I could never do that or could never do this. When you don’t believe in yourself you start losing self-respect, and basically don’t give any respect to anyone. 1.Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are. So, when the days come that are filled with frustration and unexpected responsibilities, remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be. Because the challenges and changes will only help you to find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you. 2.Push past your discomfort, growing your discomfort method. Put yourself out there and be OK with not knowing if people will accept you. 3.Stick to a habit, not listening to the negative self-talk that normally holds you back. Stick to it some more and learn to trust yourself. 4.Learn through repeated attempts that it’s OK to fail, that you can be OK in failure. Give yourself permission to try and try again. Always believe in yourself. Learning how to believe in yourself will open up endless possibilities in your life. At some point in life, you should be done worrying about what others think about you and focus on the things you deeply care about. You don’t need permission or approval to be yourself. We can not live in fear of what other’s think. Step out of your comfort zone. The world is constantly telling you that everything you are not is what makes you happy. The other persons “great” job, or a new and bigger house etc. Focus on yourself and your dreams. Once you step outside, your comfort zone, you’ll start to believe in yourself and what you can offer the world, without letting outside influences stop you or sway your decisions. The more you desperately want to be like someone else, the more unworthy you feel. The more you desperately want to be happier, the lonelier you become, despite the awesome people surrounding you. In my personal journey of wanting better, I had to cut off people. Hell, I even changed my number. My story: My life is a story of faith, hope, perseverance, survival, love, heartbreak, compassion, triumphs, and failures. God didn't promise days without pain, laughter, sorrow, sun or rain, but he did promise strength for the day, comfort for the tears, and light for the way. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas!! I was raised in a small low income neighborhood near downtown Houston called Fourth Ward. I will never forget where I came from, Fourth Ward, but I just tend to set my mind more on where I’m headed. I have learned that you must think outside of the box to obtain greatness. As we go through life, it’s easy to get caught up in the status quo. You start to believe that average is acceptable and that since others are settling, then it’s ok to do the same. As soon as you notice this start to happen, something must be done to snap out of it! Because the world needs you to put your gifts to work — we’re in a mess and we need your help. You Can't Please Everyone It's impossible to live up to everyone's expectations. There will always be people—no matter what we say or how we treat them—that will judge us. Whether you're at the gym, at work, taking the train, or even online playing Call of Duty. Even now it's happening. You will never be able to stop people from judging you, but you can stop it from affecting you. Live Your Best Life! Step outside of your comfort zone! Here are 4 keys, to step out of your comfort zone and living your best life. 1.The negative comments someone makes is about them, and not you. ... 2.Be true to yourself. ... 3.This is your one life. ... 4.Remove sources of negativity, immediately. ... The key to living your best life is facing your fears. Underneath your fears lie great opportunities. Because when you start doing the things that scare you the most, tearing down the invisible barriers that separate you from the good life, you become the person you’ve always dreamed about in your mind: your ideal self. That means finding your courage is a life-changing decision. Fear will always be around to tell you what you can’t do it’s up to you to face your fears and tell yourself that you can.
Too often, we allow fear, worry, and doubt to dominate and define our lives. We allow them to steal our joy, our sleep, and our precious dreams. The 4 keys, to face your fears and live your best life.
You are a winner! Never give up on your Dreams! Face your fears and live your best life! ![]() To live your best life, you must enjoy the little things in life. You enjoy the small victories. Enjoy the little things in life because one day you'll look back and realize they were the big things. Happiness is everywhere you let it be. Small things that happen any given day, or every day. And this is what’s big. To realize it’s there. Mostly up to you. Sometimes it’s the little things in life that make me get out of bed every day, make me enjoy life and make me happy that I am alive. We’re often bombarded with messages that admonish us: “think big,” “go for the gold,” “climb the ladder of success.” And do all this NOW! Yet when we follow this advice, we’re more apt to feel exhausted, inadequate or both. When I’m stuck in the grasp of negativity. Because usually I’m worrying about something that ultimately doesn’t matter. Here is Three Things Enjoy the Little Things: 1.Appreciate that life is made up of moments. We tend to think of life as the passage of days, weeks, years and decades. But, in essence, life is made up of moments. As you reflect on your day, what moments stand out for you? Is it the stress of trying to do it all? Is it the stuff that didn’t get done? Is it the disappointment in yourself for what you forgot to do or failed to do, or a gloomy feeling about how far you are from the top? 2. Be grateful for life. Gratitude means thankfulness, counting your blessings, noticing simple pleasures, and acknowledging everything that you receive. It means learning to live your life as if everything were a miracle and being aware on a continuous basis of how much you’ve been given. Gratitude shifts your focus from what your life lacks to the abundance that is already present. 3. Take time for yourself. Take the trip! What ‘little things’ make you smile? It goes without saying: travel has so many benefits. One of the greatest rewards of travel is taking empowering steps in self-development. Not only are you actively seeing for yourself places and cultures you may only have seen in pictures, but at the same you’re building a myriad of memories that will last a lifetime. The joys of such adventures help you discover things about yourself you may never have realized from the comfort of your home. If so, it’s time for you to make a shift. Each day, pay attention to at least one or two moments that worked out well for you. Don’t shrug your shoulders and conclude that “it was just a crappy day. Nothing worked out for me.” Even a bad experience has a valuable moment wrapped up inside of it, if only you‘re willing to dig deeper to discover it. Pay attention to what you have done. The constant barrage to “DO more,” “GET more,” and “BE more” negates what you have done, what you have and who you are. It makes you feel deprived. Less than. Not good enough. In this competitive world of ours, we often need to remind ourselves of what we have accomplished. And always, always, we need to remind ourselves to be our best friend. Live Your Best Life! Its starts with the small things! One day it just clicks! You realize what’s important and what isn’t! Keep living Your Best Life! TJInspires ![]() Many of us have visions of a better tomorrow, perhaps these visions consist of a future where we will lose weight and get into shape, or quit smoking and drinking, or find a career that we actually love, make more money, read that book, write that book, master that musical instrument, and so forth, all while still finding the time to spend with our families, keep up with friends, and keep our house clean and organized. Whatever your vision may be, ask yourself: What are you waiting for? Make your time here on earth count! Here are 3 key steps to Live Your Best Life…Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. For the next we will focus on Live Your Best Life!Don’t be trapped by, living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinion drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. 1.Live every day on a fresh new start. Don’t be held back by what happened yesterday, the day before, the week before, the year before, or even decades ago. Life is short, so live in the present moment. Take the trip! Enjoy life! Take time for yourself. 2.Create your own opportunities. You can wait for opportunities. Or you can go out there and create your own opportunities. The latter is definite and much more empowering. 3.Last but not least: Love life. I find living to be a fascinating experience. How we’re all on earth with millions of species, 30,000 different life forms, and over 7 billion people, and everyone is thriving in their own way, existing, co-existing, and co-creating. There’s so much we don’t know out there and so much to be experienced that it’s just wonderful. As you live on earth, remember to love life. It’s the only way we have to live. For the month of April we focus on the topic Live Your Best Life, we will focus on living your best life! Why, because your time here on earth is limited! So enjoy life and live to the fullest! Now, go on out there and LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE. Love you to the moon + back, Tristan Jackson Black Panther is still breaking box office records! We all want to fly to Wakanda. But guess what Wakanda, is a fictional African Island. We have Wakanda right here in America its called working together.
For black moviegoers, “Black Panther” offers an imagined reality free of the constraints and horrors of white supremacy. While some may push back on the resurgence of black pride and consciousness as an appropriate response to current circumstances, it is clear that the symbolic representation emerging from the film is helping African Americans reimagine what was historically possible, and what can be realized now to counter the current administration’s racially divisive public policies and rhetoric. Clearly, this is not your traditional Marvel film. It has demonstrated the strong economic power of diversity and inclusion on screen, and restarted nostalgic conversations on the potential of black power. What Hollywood and African Americans decide to do next is undetermined. But, if the movie winds up as a moment rather than a movement, it will still be recognized as one of “the firsts” that deserves a place on the mantle of achievements recognized during Black History. We must work together! As we work to push our community forward. We must be the voice of the community. Everything we need is right at our finger tips. I challenge you this week to try something new!Trying new things can be undoubtedly daunting. The unfamiliar makes us nervous in a way that’s hard to describe. The act of leaving our comfort zone puts us in a vulnerable position, and leaves us with an onslaught of questions running through our heads. Thank you to everyone that attend the Empowerment Master class on yesterday! It was awesome! Thank you to everyone! It was a sold out event. I remember hosting my first class, I had one in attendance! We had over 16 in attendance on yesterday! Always believe in your dreams! Getting outside your comfort zone is not a means to an end, but rather a goal in itself. As soon as you choose to leave your comfort zone, you form a direct friction with life, go towards the pursuit of your dreams, and in short, really start living. What, I learned from the event, we need more positive events in our community. We need to start building our own Wakanda. The topic of the Master class was Passion into Profit What is a “comfort zone” and why should you challenge it? Your comfort zone is the space you inhabit where behaviors, activities, and settings are all familiar and routine. That familiarity becomes a buffer to reduce anxiety and stress. You embrace the status quo because you feel secure there. So, what’s the secret to leaving your comfort zone? Here are three tips to help move you into a world of adventure and opportunity: 1. Believe in yourself
Don’t be afraid: What do you have to lose? It takes courage to try something new. You aren’t going to be an expert at something right off the bat, so learn to check your ego at the door and just have fun |
